Last weekend I was happily typing away on facebook when I noticed that the battery symbol on my laptop was showing on my start bar. As this usually shows when my laptop isn’t plugged in I assumed it has come lose somehow. I checked all the connections and everything was plugged in as it should be. I even checked to make sure that the plug socket was on. Still nothing – My laptop was as if it wasn’t plugged in at all. I figured that my laptop charger must have broken. I have a Dell Latitude D600 so started to look online to find a replacement. The problem was that the more I used my laptop, the more my battery was running out. Being as unorganized as I am I didn’t have a spare! Eventually I found a site that had a dell laptop charger for sale. Even though they offer next day delivery I knew that I would still be without the use of my laptop for the best part of a day. I decided I would change my ways and ordered two, so that next time I would have a spare if anything were to go wrong. They came the next day which was great however the time between when my battery died and the dell charger arriving was a nightmare! All I can say is thank goodness for facebook on my blackberry curve! However all the other important documents, emails, photos and messages I have saved on my laptop couldn’t be accessed the whole time that my laptop battery was flat. It was a real nightmare as I had some important documents that needed to be emailed off to work as soon as possible. Luckily they were understanding however next time they might not be. I am just glad I have been organized enough this time to order a spell dell charger. I just hope that next time my dell laptop charger breaks I remember where I put my spare one!

LG is aware that touchscreens are mobile phone standards of tomorrow. However, a lot of people are still not comfortable with the technology and still require the comforts of the handy alphanumeric keypad. So LG made a compromise by launching the KF700. It is compared with Samsung’s F700 for its dual touchscreen and keypad functions and with the iPhone with its similar interface. But the technology advances because of people who take the best out of what technology offers and apply them accordingly.
The LG KF700 is the marriage of these technologies. It uses user-friendly interface that makes menu access easy. The icons are arranged on the screen and they are activated via haptic technology allowing for only the gentlest finger swipe.
